About US

Margaret is the confectioner behind Gilded Sugar. The name "Gilded Sugar" derives from the golden color that sugar needs to be to become the perfect caramel. 

 

Her love of cookies started in her mothers kitchen. There are even cookies that friends and family know as Westerhof's. They were brought to every gathering. Cookies are the perfect item to give or receive. They always bring a smile. 

Margaret graduated from Seccia Culinary School and is also a certified Private Chef. Going to culinary school to be a cookie master. Her other passion is travel. Always taking cooking class while abroad. She loves to bring those flavors into the cookies that she creates.
